Notice of Opportunity to serve as a Director of the Board

Gholson Water Supply Corporation Board of Directors would like to notify all members of their opportunity to serve as a director of the board. We have applications for director located in our office at 12520 Gholson RD. Waco, TX 76705. You may pick up an application during our business hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:00pm and 2:00pm- 5:00 pm. To be placed on the official ballot form, applications for the director position are due in our office no later than Friday February 20, 2026.

The application form will require the following information.

  • The person’s name and contact information.
  • If applicable, the Director’s position number or other distinguishing number for which the person seeks to be elected;
  • Biographical information about the person;
  • A statement of the person’s qualifications to serve as director;
  • A signed statement that the person is qualified under Texas Water Code Section 67.0051 as follows:(1) Is at least 18 years old on the first day of term to be filled; (2) is a member of the Corporation; (3) has not been determined by a final judgement of a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be totally mentally incapacitated without the right to vote; and (4) has not been finally convicted of a felony or if convicted, was pardoned or otherwise released from the resulting disabilities;
  • A statement that the person meets the eligibility requirements, if any, set forth in the Certificate of Formation and Bylaws of the corporation; and
  • The person’s written consent to serve, if elected.

The Annual Meeting for the Gholson Water Supply Corporation will be held at the Gholson Water Supply Corporation Office 12520 Gholson RD. Waco, TX 76705 at 6:00pm on the 6th of April 2026.
